Today, the General Administration of Cybersecurity completed five training sessions held over 5 days on Sunday, March 5, 2023, titled“Basic Cybersecurity Controls,” aiming at introducing the policies, procedures, and basic controls of cybersecurity to IT departments at King Khalid University. The second edition is in the process of being prepared. The cybersecurity team presented the training session at the official department headquarters, and attendance was also made available via the Zoom to give employees the opportunity to participate outside the headquarters. The organization of this initiative comes in conjunction with the programs and requirements of the National Cybersecurity Authority to raise level of commitment and awareness; which aimed at consolidating the values ​​of preserving cybersecurity, and achieving integration and unification of efforts made in this framework.
